San Lotano Oval Robusto

The Cigar: San Lotano is the brand, Oval is the line and Robusto is the size of this cigar manufactured in Nicaragua by Cuban émigré A.J. Fernandez.

The Smoke: At the start this is a full bodied cigar – leather, pepper and copious smoke – then it stabilizes itself as a medium bodied stick, the flavour profile is quite constant but this is quite a common feature for most robustos . The oval size is very practical, mouth and ashtray appreciate it, I’d say the oval it’s even a better idea than Litto Gomez’s chisel. Beware the ash: it’s exceedingly friable.
