Carlos Toraño Exodus 1959 50 Years Box Pressed

April 23, 2013

The Cigar: A well-known cigar, it made even an appearance in Cigar Aficionado‘s Top 25 a few years ago, as it is usual with this brand this cigar is the result of blending tobaccos from different territories: here the wrapper comes from Brasil and it’s called Arapiraca Sun-Grown, the binder comes from Honduras while the filler features leafs from Estelì and Pueblo Nuevo in Nicaragua.

The Smoke: At 5×55 this is a fat robusto, medium in strength but with a lot of flavor. It comes out of the box with pleasing aromas of dried fruit and chestnut honey, you will find them during the smoke too, alongside sweet spices and chocolate and a shade of persistent leather, the smoke is abundant and creamy. One of the best robustos on the market.

The Score: 92
